REFLECTION

Through this module, I learned to use different design principles in the paintings, show the audience more layered works and have the opportunity to learn to appreciate a work of art through visual analysis (observation, analysis, interpretation).  In the final project, I was able to better understand how to express social and cultural issues through paintings.

I really like this module because I have the opportunity to create paintings through many interesting themes.  Before drawing the subject of self-portraits, I never thought of drawing a self-portrait for myself, but after drawing it, I feel that it is very meaningful, because I can re-understand myself through this creation.  I think it is difficult to apply design principles in paintings, but luckily I learned how to use them in the modules.

Design is a complex and beneficial process. Even if there is a theme and direction, we all need to have sufficient imagination and creativity.  Turning our imagination into reality is a difficult and interesting process, and we have to consider many details to complete it.
