After reviewing the references, I started choosing a grid system for this e-book.


First Draft:

I tried using four columns with margins as my grid system.


Some excerpts from the first draft. I used the brand’s silver, white, black and grey colors in the design to increase the brand’s premium feel and expressiveness. I tried to use a crowd light as the background design so that the audience can focus on the title placed in the center.

At the same time, I added a shadow effect to the text, hoping to express the feeling of light shining on the text.

In order to fit the concept of a photography studio, I chose to include some photos of real studio locations in the e-book.

Including the target subject, I also found some portraits taken in a studio that fit the description.

Week 11
1. Not all completed yet 
2. Font size should be unified

1.Forgot to put the logo on the cover page. 
2. The text should be consistent. 
3. Interactive buttons should be made. 
4. All should be completed next week.
5.The background is too uniform and needs to be changed

1. Add a return button at the bottom 
2. Make all the contents in the directory into buttons

Reflection

Experience:
After completing this assignment, I learned how to use brand colors and typography to introduce the brand to readers.

Observations:
I have observed that different layouts can give e-books different looks and feels. Audiences can have different feelings about e-books through the expression of colors and text.

Findings:
I realized that I should unify the design style and pattern to express a complete brand concept.
