Week 6

Self-portrait projects start with writing down what we know about ourselves, including our preferences, personality, and traits. Make a deep self-exploration to identify what elements are needed for the painting.

The author uses facial expressions to describe the male characters in the paintings who tend to be introverted or sad, and also uses different colors to enrich the characters and highlight the protagonist.

Referring to the style of these paintings, I decided to use the same perspective to express "myself", just like these paintings to express the characters through details, for example, the girl in the picture expresses her extroverted personality with a bright smile.

Life is Strange - game illustration.


I was inspired by this game illustration.  Let me think that I can use the photo frame to express my love for photography and express my other hobbies through the photo frame behind it.

The elements of short hair, photography and introversion are referred to, among which the symbol on the mask is to express introversion, and the camera is to express hobby.

Changed the way you hold the camera, added nails and strings to make it look more like a photo on a photo frame, and added a photo frame to make it look more like a selfie.


Express my love for blue and cats through the color of the clothes and the cats on the clothes.  And on the photo frame behind there are also photos of me holding a camera and a cat, using details to express my hobbies implicitly.

The way of the camera cannot be fixed, it looks more like a sketch at present, you can try to add text to make it more interesting.
