Week 6 (May 11, 2023)

Since the fifth week was a public holiday, we conducted the sixth week based on the material from the fifth week.

In this lecture, we learned about digital photography.


Aperture/Aperture: Controls the flow of light into the lens
Measured by f-stop, expressed in order of f-stop
The lower the f-number, the larger the lens aperture.
Shutter Speed: *Let light hit the film or block light from reaching the film
ISO: *Sensitivity of the camera sensor (signal gain)
The lower the ISO value, the less sensitive the camera is to light and the more grainy it will be.

Focal length: The shorter the focal length, the wider the viewing angle and vice versa
Depth of Field: The smaller the aperture used, the greater the depth of field.
