Project 1

1. Research

I found some digital resumes on Pinterest as a reference, and I recorded the layout and color palette of some of them.

3. Adobe XD

This is my first-time using Adobe XD and I am not familiar with its layout. I created the canvas according to the ratio of (1366x2993)

I chose yellow and black as the main colors of the electronic resume. The collision of bright colors and dark colors makes it look more interesting.

I think the arrangement of Sketches 03 is more beautiful, so I chose to use it as a sketch for the next step of design.

I used ctrl + shift + m to add the photo to the shape so that it would look consistent with the round avatar in the draft.

After many attempts to adjust the fonts, I chose Segoe UI and Futura Std as the main fonts for the electronic resume.  Futura is used for the text content and Segoe is used for the title.

Reflection:

This project allowed me to better understand the arrangement and pattern of electronic resumes. I observed that electronic resumes should be concise to make the content clear. This gave me a deeper understanding of the design of electronic resumes.
